Class 50 50025 Invincible stands at Paddington in October 1987, but tragically within 2 years of this image, Invincible would be involved in a serious accident and derailment at West Ealing on 6th August 1989, when heading the 2145 Oxford - Paddington she struck a section of rail that vandals had placed across the main line, ending her BR and Network South East career.
